Let us introduce you to an 11 years old CEO who has his very own company, MR. FRESH est. 2018, which offers fine mist fragrances that eliminate odours from fabrics in both homes and vehicles. It is making your space super fresh!
Joshua Danrich, also known as “Mr Fresh,” born in July 2008, was passionate about automation. When Joshua was about 10, he asked his mother if he could own a car dealership, and this became the turning point in Joshua’s life.
Every parent desires the best for their children. They give up so much to see that they get in, so did Joshua’s mother - Shay Danrich (aka ‘Mama Fresh™’). She has been the pillar of strength for Joshua.
Coming to the business, Mr Fresh’s business deals with the issue of bad odours in and around vehicles and homes. Joshua comes up with a variety of air fresheners with a wide range of fragrances. But one may question that various room fresheners exist in the market, so what makes Joshua’s company stand out? Well, Joshua, with his mom’s assistance, does much more than sell freshening mists. They have a deeper purpose.
Mr. FRESH is an acronym for Faith to Rescue Every Son from Hurt. The mother-son duo is on a mission to use this platform to promote emotional, mental, physical, and financial maturity, as well as self-esteem in African American boys. They have sponsored several events, participated in community charity events and non-profit organizations. Joshua has done a lot in just a year of running his business. To mention a few, he appeared on Good Morning America as a Kid Inventor, taught kids the science behind air freshener making in the STEM expo, that spanned over two days. He also addressed about 2000 young people at The Better Family Life Youth Empowerment Rally. He was also a Special Guest Speaker at the NAACP. He has given several radio interviews and has been a part of countless community events.
Being a kidpreneur, Joshua has come across many challenges and loops; after all, catching memories and liquefying them is not an easy task. When we asked him to provide a slice of advice to all the aspiring entrepreneurs, he shared some great lessons of life and morality. We will mention these precious tips for you-
Lead by Example
Believe in Yourself
Get a Mentor that believes in you
Stay focused because the road will get bumpy, but you can do it
Listen to your parents or Guardian
Have Fun and Enjoy the Journey
These guidelines are exemplary and worth living by. When asked about his role model, his first answer was undoubtedly -his mother, followed Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Ellen DeGeneres. These entrepreneurs share common attributes of hard-working ethics, leadership skills, dedication, character, determination and above all, they love what they do. They have made good leadership choices in life, and their work reflects their personalities.
One of Joshua’s dream is to write a book. We are sure he will end up inspiring many more of us because he thinks,
“The Sky is Not the Limit It’s Only the View”.
