Now at the age of thirteen, Vanessa is an international, multi-award-winning motivational
speaker, YouTuber, Author, and a Presenter! Vanessa and her mother work together to help
adults and young people by addressing essential topics. She has written two books, The 5 Secrets
to Public Speaking Success, Vanessa’s Book of Quotes – Inspiration on The Go! and an
audiobook, The 12 Keys to Success. She usually focuses on confidence and inspiration. Some of
the keys are listed below:
- Are you existing or living?
- How to be successful on YouTube
- Steps to happiness
- Steps to grow confidence
Vanessa attended Parent Talk with her mum when she was nine. One of the parents beckoned
her to come on stage and speak with them. It was the pivotal event. She realized that she could
inspire many people. Her venture took off from there. Starting motivational speaking is always
nerve- wracking, and people tend to make many mistakes. In the initial stages of her enterprise,
she learned a few valuable lessons, like not everyone around you knows what’s the best for you,
and one can come across as fake.
“Others can place you in a compromising position, and you can find it very difficult to recover,”
she said. Burn out has been a big challenge that Vanessa has faced. As a teenager with a lot of
schoolwork and social media accounts to manage after school could be overwhelming. Despite
life’s pressures, she tries to take time out for herself by reading and watching movies. Relaxing
helps her find new energies and ideas for her new projects. Taking these lessons into account,
Vanessa came out much stronger and more powerful to do what she loves doing!
Vanessa had started off her entrepreneurship undercapitalized. She received her first salary
when she sold motivational quotes on canvases. She used her first £200 to buy her dream bed,
which was a goal ever since she was nine years old. Now people book her for speeches and pay a
preset or negotiated fee. Vanessa has been trained and mentored by several top international
speakers and has shared the stage with Jairek Robbins, Eric Thomas, Eric Ho, Caleb Maddix,
and may more.
Vanessa has achieved many things over the years. She is extremely proud of traveling and
speaking in Dubai, Malaysia, and Slovakia. She has received many awards listed below:
- Fearless Speaker Certificate - August 2016,
- Inspirational Young Persons Award -October 2016,
- Award of Appreciation- November 2016,

Managing a business and motivating people are not easy tasks. However. Vanessa started
something she loves and never gave up! Her love for helping and supporting others has always
kept her on track. She plans to continue growing her business by reaching out to more schools.
She also plans to help homeless people by creating a ‘hotel for the homeless.’
She dreams about being on Ellen DeGeneres’ show. (Check out Vanessa’s YouTube quest to get
on the Ellen Show.) She also aspires to be a top motivational speaker, TV presenter, and actress!
In addition to her regular work, Vanessa recently collaborated with the Young Urban Arts
Foundation (YUAF), a charity that helps vulnerable and disadvantaged young people by
improving their well-being and resilience. Here, she produces videos for young minds to be
positive, stay connected, and fulfill their potential.
Vanessa’s role model is her mother, Veronika Sam because she is always supportive and inspires
her to work hard and help others. Vanessa proudly says that her mother is the kindest and most
selfless individual she knows. She would not have flourished without her mother’s
encouragement and help. She also recognizes that young entrepreneurs need to collaborate and
support one another whenever possible.
Her favorite quote- “Opportunities are like bubbles. So catch them before they pop!”
